We are not a pen company in the traditional sense. We don't have a factory. We don't produce thousands of units. What we have is a standard — and a craftsman who refuses to lower it.

The Origin

The Hemmingway was born from frustration. After years of reaching for pens that looked the part but felt disposable, we set out to build something different. Something that would last not just a lifetime, but long enough to be passed down.

We sourced exotic hardwoods — Wenge, Ebony, Rosewood, Cherry, Zebrawood — and paired them with solid brass components. Not plated. Not coated. Solid. Each pen is hand-turned on a lathe, one at a time, from a single piece of wood. The grain you see on your pen exists nowhere else in the world.
